چکیده

Abstract This study was conducted to evaluate the efficiency of three bacterial isolates Lactobacillus acidophilus 4453, Bifidobacterium bifidum 5144, and Streptococcus thermophilus 5935 on thyroid hormones liver enzymes common carp fingerlings which had initial body weight attained (44±0.69) g. A total 72 fish were used randomly divided into 4 treatments with 3 replicates (6 per replicate). An experimental diet prepared a crude protein (29.14%) gross energy 396.726 kcal / The suspensions at dilution 1*10 -6 cfu/ml added suspension 20% Arabic gum phosphate buffer salt as an enveloping adhesive material cells increase their stability survival feed pellets. liquid specified amounts diets according following (T0 control treatment, T1 T2 T3 5935. Thyroid (TSH, T3, T4) (AST, ALT, ALPA) assessed after 83 days experiment. results statistical analysis showed that all exceeded T0 followed by then T1. As for enzymes, significantly other AST, while there no significant difference among ALT. ALP, whilst lowest recorded mean T3. Here we conclude in food fingerling major role increasing values hormones, this indicates metabolic activities these fish, damage occurred those result use mentioned isolates.

Effects of Two Probiotics, Lactobacillus Plantarum and Lactobacillus Bulgaricus on Growth Performance and Intestinal Lactic Acid Bacteria of Cyprinus Carpio

Background: The application of probiotics to aquaculture is rather new. Probiotics affect the intestinal microbial flora of fish and subsequently modulate its immune response and growth performance. OBJECTIVES: This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of food supplementation with L.plantarum and L.bulgaricus on growth performance and gut microbiota of Cyprinus carpio. METHODS: For this p...

Histological Alterations in Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758) Gills as Potential Biomarkers for Fungicide Contamination

The present study aimed to investigate the histological alterations in common carp gills caused by a fosetyl-Al and fenamidone based fungicide tested in laboratory conditions at 30, 38 and 50 mg/L concentration. In general, all the tested concentrations activated compensatory-adaptive mechanisms, which caused pathological changes in the fish gills. Results showed different histological alterati...

Effects of mannan oligosaccharide supplementation on growth, some immune responses and gut lactic acid bacteria of common carp (Cyprinus Carpio) fingerlings

This study was conducted to determine the effects of mannan oligosaccharide (MOS) on growth, some immune responses and gut lactic acid bacteria of common carp. Four experimental diets containing 0%, 0.05%, 0.10% and 0.20% MOS were prepared. Each diet was randomly allocated to triplicate groups of fish with initial average weight of approximately 14 g. After eight weeks, survival rate was high i...
